Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.(ECC 12:13,14)
In life, man is cumbered with a lot of activities,thoughts, feelings, emotions and responsibilities. Thus, he tent to forget his primary purpose of being qua being. But I want to seize this opportunity to remind everyone who cares (for God will surely bless the readers of his word-Rev 1 vs 3.) that the reason for our existence is just to please God-Rev 4:11. Please let’s make pleasing the primacy of our life. Let’s stop living for our owning selfish ambition but live our life for him who died on the cross for our sin and rose again to give the hope of eternal life.
The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and that very beginning will only begin at salvation. You must be born-again because that is the only way you can begin to fear and afterwards please God. The necessity of salvation for every man can never be over emphasised. Please folks, if your hands are still dirty with any sin/sins (Gal 5:19-21) repent, confess and turn away from such. What you hear and read this moment is “the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord”. What I say to you I say to all-FEAR GOD because every action, reaction and thoughts shall be weighed with the scale of justice and we all shall receive the fruit of our labour-“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Dan 12:2. He that have an ear, let him hear!
