Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2 Peter 3:3 & 4).
Before the First coming of Christ, the prophecy was that some one: John was going to come to herald the coming of the King. Voici aussi another sign,“there shall come in the last days scoffers”
. What shall be their characteristic-features?
Answer: “walking after their own lusts” they will walk and even do walk and work (because they are among us) after their own lusts. They will live to please themselves and not only that, they will deceive other as we see in verse 4. They will blaspheme, they will ask-“Where is the promise of his coming? ” folks, like I said before, they are among us already. They are those that tell us- relax, you are Okay, I am okay, we are all okay, you are alright. Do not worry about living right and being free from the bondage of all sins. Jesus is not coming yet, He is not even coming again “for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
Folks be not deceived by them for here is what Jesus said about them “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer (allow) ye them that are entering to go in.”Matt 23:13. They are the children of Hell and so shall their end be- in the lake of fire.
Folks are you already in their assemblies, “come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. ” 2 Cor 6:17,18
I pray that Our God whose will is to give us the Kingdom will never allow us to be deceived. You will never allow our soul to see corruption in hell, In Jesus Name. Amen!
