Should I Divorce?

This is the kind of question that people begin to ask when the University of Marriage starts teaching them tough courses that they keep scoring F9 no matter how hard they try. When the tempo of marriage becomes intolerable, people tend to look at divorce as the last resort. Others try the “appeasement policy”. Hey what is that? Yes, the appeasement policy in a political context is
a diplomatic policy of making political or material concessions to an enemy power in other to avoid conflict. It is the act of playing at a very low key so that the aggressive partner (either the husband or the wife (yes, women at times are the aggressors)) will not take rash or irrational decisions that will affect the future of the family. But trust me, this has failed on several occasions and even led to unimaginable outcomes. When British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, tried to use the appeasement policy on Germany and Italy after the first world war, history recorded that it made Germany/Hitler to grow very powerful that the second world war became inevitable.

So Daniel, what should i do when my marriage seems to be hitting the rock and there is no way forward? Should i bend over backward or take i retreat or should i go all out and divorce him/her?

In other not to raise irrational arguments, i would like us to use the bible to answer this question. Here is a fine work done on this topic by a reputable man of God- (click the link and read on)
